On Wednesday, September 25, Grupo La Vasca celebrated its anniversary in a very special way. The event took place at the restaurant El Vasco, where friends, partners, and regular customers of La Vasca and El Vasco joined us for an evening that turned out to be a great success.
From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed by the vibrant sound of the Txalaparta, a traditional Basque instrument that set the festive tone for the evening. The celebration was further enlivened by great music from the group Monkey Doo, who filled the atmosphere with joy and rhythm.
One of the evening’s highlights was the distribution of the anniversary bracelet, available in two versions: “Yo soy de La Vasca” and “Yo soy de El Vasco”. A beautiful keepsake to take home and celebrate our shared history.
Additionally, attendees enjoyed a photo booth that captured the best smiles and fun moments of the evening. We also had a jamón carving station that delighted everyone present.
The menu: An unforgettable Basque culinary experience
As expected, the menu lived up to the occasion. We started with one of our great specialties:
- Our Gilda with anchovy or boquerón
- Variety of tomatoes with ventresca and piparrak with vinaigrette
- Trio of croquettes:
- Ibérico ham
- Basque txuleta
- Boletus and truffle with truffle mayo
The main course was a Basque classic:
- Red beans with accompaniments and cabbage
And to finish, the desserts were truly delightful:
- Basque cheesecake with honey and walnuts
- Chocolate cake
- Lotus cake
Each dish was met with praise, making this celebration an unforgettable culinary experience.
