This is how 2025 has been at Grupo La Vasca

With the arrival of the festive season, it is also time to take stock. 2025 has been a particularly significant year for Grupo La Vasca, marked by the consolidation of our long-standing restaurants and the launch of new projects that have broadened our understanding of gastronomy and the dining experience.

It has been a year of natural evolution, sustained growth and new hopes shared with those who have accompanied us along the way.


La Vasca and El Vasco: consolidation built day by day

Throughout 2025, La Vasca and El Vasco have continued to establish themselves as two essential references within the group. Two spaces with their own personality that have continued to grow thanks to the trust of those who choose them for everyday dining, special celebrations or simply to enjoy honest, approachable cuisine.

The consolidation of both restaurants has confirmed that the essence of the project remains intact: product, flavour and a way of understanding the table as a meeting place.

Sukalde: a new chapter in the heart of Palma

The opening of Sukalde has been one of the major milestones of the year. It represents a new commitment by Grupo La Vasca to contemporary Basque cuisine, where the product has been the starting point and technique has been put at the service of a more refined and gastronomic experience.

Located in the historic centre of Palma, inside the Puro Grand Hotel, Sukalde was created as a space designed for unhurried enjoyment, with its own identity and a clear vocation for growth. The project has been very well received and has opened a new chapter for the group.

La Vasca is Mexican: a different approach with character

2025 also saw the birth of La Vasca es Mexicana, a project that has expanded the group’s universe with a fresh, carefree approach full of personality. It offers a different way of sharing a meal, where Mexican flavours coexist with the essence of the Basque Country in a more festive and casual atmosphere.

This new venture has allowed the group to explore new horizons without losing sight of its roots, bringing diversity and energy to the group as a whole.

A year of shared proposals and plans

Throughout the year, Grupo La Vasca has introduced new menus, formats designed for groups, seasonal offerings and more flexible options adapted to each time of year. These initiatives have all had the same goal: to offer experiences designed for enjoyment, sharing and celebration without complications.

Each offering, each opening and each occupied table has been part of an intense and lively year.
